Adaora Lynda Okoye
Adaora Okoye is currently a Communications Associate with CODE. She is also a digital marketing strategist, and sustainability advocate. She has extensive experience of over 5 years working on projects with several international organizations: UNICEF Voices of Youth, Samsung TUNZA Eco-Generation, and Internet Society. She also has experience working with local organizations in Nigeria.
She discovered her love for the development sector at an early age and have not looked back since. SDG Factory (sdgfactory.com) is the virtual space she created to shine a light on social impact and sustainability matters in Africa.
Since its inception in October 2017, it has provided expert advice and opportunities for over 3000 young people in over 15 countries. On her podcast, AdaoraTalksImpact, she tackles pressing development issues with Africa’s industry leaders. She has interviewed Queen’s Young Leaders, Princess Diana Awardees and Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni.
In February 2020, she won the Gage Award for Podcast of the Year and was featured in The Nigerian Tribune, the oldest surviving newspaper in Nigeria, as a foremost advocate of Digital Literacy and Sustainability in Nigeria.
