Charles E. Uche ESQ.
Charles is the Staff Attorney of Connected Development where he offers his legal and project management expertise towards realising organizational objectives, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and the realisation of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
He is a development and humanitarian lawyer/practitioner and is interested in the indispensable instrumentality of law to development, social justice and nation-building. He is a passionate advocate for transitional justice, transparency and accountability, human rights, good governance, rule of law, open and participatory governance.
He is also a knowledge-worker skilled in research and writing, legal and policy analysis, legal drafting and advisory, negotiation and conflict resolution, budget tracking and advocacy, and has trained various stakeholders on access to information, human rights, among others things.
Charles is a graduate of Public and Private Law from Afe Babalola University, the Nigerian Law School, and currently a scholar at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
