Programs Intern

Peace Ozegbe is a  Programs Intern at Connected Development (CODE). Her work as an intern is to assist in project implementation.

She supports the implementation of CODE’s projects. Some of these include the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment. The AGILE project aims to improve secondary opportunities among adolescent girls in target areas in 7 participating states.

Peace began volunteering to support at-risk girls at a safe space club when she was 16 and that shaped her life and influenced her decision to focus on designing and implementing interventions focused on gender equality. She has designed and supported projects focused on mental health, literacy, and school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV).

Peace Ozegbe is a mental health and girls’ rights advocate in Nigeria. She studied a B.Ed in Guidance and Counselling at the University of Abuja, Nigeria with an ongoing master’s degree in Guidance and counseling
